Verdant Light

Description

Verdant Light is painted using  three colors: Payne’s Gray, Mayan Blue Genuine, and Aussie Red Gold.  Payne’s Gray is a granulating color made up of three pigments ultramarine blue, yellow iron oxide, and ivory black. Mayan Blue Genuine is a recreation from the blue pigment used by the Ancient Mayans.  It seems to granulate a little but isn’t labeled as such.  It’s color is a rich cool blue. Aussie Red Gold is a non granulating warm reddish gold made with three pigments. In masstone it is a rich red gold and diluted it becomes a warm gold yellow.

This is the original watercolor and is hand painted by me.  I recommend matting this Atmospheric Watercolor to allow the artwork to really standout.  All watercolor paintings are waxed sealed.  The back is titled, signed, and dated.  Every painting has my initials near the bottom right side of the artwork.
