Description

Sultry Light is painted with two colors, Rose of Ultramarine and Bloodstone Genuine. Rose of Ultramarine is a granulating and splitting pigment combination made from Ultramarine Blue and Quinacridone Rose. As a mixture, their color is a purple leaning pink but when it’s diluted the heavier pigment granulates and separates from the rose pigment leaving distinct blue and pink. Bloodstone Genuine is made of crushed Bloodstone and is black leaning Aubergine. When diluted Bloodstone Genuine granulates into a gritty warm gray.

This is the original watercolor and is hand painted by me. I recommend matting this Atmospheric Watercolor to allow the artwork to really standout. All watercolor paintings are waxed sealed. The back is titled, signed, and dated. Every painting has my initials near the bottom right side of the artwork.
