Description
Rugged Dawn is painted with two granulating and splitting watercolor paints. Moonglow is a combination of Anthraquinone Red, Ultramarine Blue, and Viridian. While it is a blue leaning purple in masstone, when diluted the red and blue split and can be seen distinctly with an occasional green haze. Tundra violet is a combination of Ultramarine Blue and Mars Brown which results in a dusty violet in masstone but when diluted those pigments split and blue and brown are distinctly seen.
This is the original watercolor and is hand painted by me. I recommend matting this Atmospheric Watercolor to allow the artwork to really standout. All watercolor paintings are waxed sealed. The back is titled, signed, and dated. Every painting has my initials near the bottom right side of the artwork.
